one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen...i was simply in awe. the pictures don't do it justice, but they give you a pretty good idea of how magnificent this basilica is...

montserrat

our friends from ireland visited us this week. we went to montserrat one of the days. a thirty minute drive from barcelona. it had beautiful views...the only bummer was driving up the windy road to get to the top of the mountain - weston threw up all over from being car sick...not the best start to the adventure, but we pulled through and he rallied!! 

sitges

we took the train last weekend to sitges beach where we stayed for a night. it was very nice. not warm enough to go swimming, but we enjoyed putting our feet in the sand and seeing a different part of spain.

we spent the day going to the joan miro gallery...here are some of the pictures we could take outside of his sculptures. of course there were so many amazing pieces of art inside that we couldn't photograph..but this gives you an idea of how inspiring he is. these are pics there and around the area of the museum! xo
