this park was my first experience of gaudi in person...wow, was it something. i was so inspired...these are some pictures taken from the top of the park looking down on the the city of barcelona.
inside the park you see the gaudi beauty up close...weston loved it too!!!
we took the smooth train into barcelona and walked to the water and ate lunch...i couldn't wait to try a sangria and some tapas! yum, yum, yum! weston wanted to walk, not stroll as you can see in the pictures. it was a beautiful day...60 degrees and sunny. in fact, it has basically remained that type of weather since we got here. we have lucked out!
it ended up being a nice flight. we had an extra seat for weston so he was able to play and sleep! all of the new toys and books we brought were key to keeping him entertained...the people who's house we're staying at had their parents pick us up at the airport. we drove to sant cugat which is where we are living for the next 3 months! it is a 15 minute train ride from barcelona. it took only a couple of days for weston to adjust to the new sleep schedule and home. chris and i are still working on the sleep!
